Out Patient Program
A full range of counseling services are available including individual, family and group psychotherapy conducted by Master's Level and/or Doctoral Level clinicians who are licensed to practice in the State of Arkansas. This service is provided in a traditional out patient clinic setting. In addition, medication management by a physician, case management and nursing services are provided on an out patient basis as indicated by the individualized treatment plan that is put in place with the input of the patient, his/her family, and the multi-disciplinary treatment team. These services address numerous client needs such as education related to psychiatric illness, emotional and behavioral problems, family and interpersonal relationships, life span issues, situational stressors and trauma resolution.
Treatment, in an out patient setting, is provided, but not limited to, the following issues related to mental illness:
- Depression (including major depression and dysthymia).
- Anxiety Disorders (including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder and phobias).
- Significant loss/grief
- Reactions to traumatic events
- Stress management/anger control
- Relationship problems
- Physical or sexual abuse issues
- Chronic mental illness
- Attention deficit/hyperactivity
- Bipolar Disorders
- Schizophrenia
- Schizoaffective Disorder
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Relapse prevention
- Crisis intervention/stabilization
